Mateusz Dwulecki is a versatile and experienced trombonist whose career has flourished on prestigious stages across Europe. He began his musical education in Poland, studying trombone at the Academy of Music in Krakow. He continued his studies at renowned musical institutions in Basel and Hanover, where he developed his technique and artistic sensitivity under the guidance of esteemed teachers and performers.
During his studies, his talent was quickly recognized internationally. In 2009, he received a contract with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, which allowed him to perform at the prestigious London Proms Festival, one of the most important musical events in the UK and the world. This was a significant opportunity that opened doors to further collaborations with leading European orchestras.
Later that year, Mateusz was appointed principal trombonist at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden, marking the beginning of his professional orchestral career. Between 2010 and 2012, he held the same position at the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, one of the most active symphonic orchestras in Germany, performing both in concert halls and opera stages.
In 2013, Mateusz Dwulecki became the principal trombonist of the Hamburger Symphoniker, a major milestone in his artistic journey. In this role, he regularly performs in prestigious concert halls and collaborates with renowned conductors and soloists. His extensive experience, musicality, and technical excellence have made him a valued member of the orchestra, as well as a sought-after musician for chamber music and symphonic projects.
