XVIII edition of the biggest trombone and tuba festival in Poland

9-13 July 2023 

Filip Kołaczyk began his musical education in the trombone class of Łukasz Gwoździec, then studied under the supervision of Dr. Tomasz Hajda and Eloy Panizo Padron. He is a graduate of the Academy of Music. Karol Lipiński in Wrocław. During his studies, he was a member of the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra, ONO - Ostrava New Orchestra and Santander Orchestra.

As a soloist, he performed with the Silesian and Częstochowa Philharmonic Orchestras.He collaborated with orchestras such as NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra, Beethoven Academy Orchestra, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Wrocław Opera, Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw. He performed under the baton of artists such as: Giancarlo Guerrero, Krzysztof Penderecki, Karel Mark Chichon, Michał Nesterowicz.

Since 2019, he has been the principal trombonist of the Częstochowa Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.
