Żywieckie Suwakowanie is a unique event on a European scale, gathering over 130 trombonists and tubists each year, along with authorities and distinguished artists from all over the country and abroad.

The founder and creator of Żywieckie Suwakowanie is Maciej Pietraszko.
 

Every year, this event provides unforgettable musical experiences at the highest level, not only for the residents of Żywiec but also for the numerous guests who visit the city and its surroundings.
 

With a rich program of cultural events, the festival guarantees all participants and trombone enthusiasts concerts by the largest trombone and tuba orchestra in Poland, performances by distinguished musical personalities, masterclasses, lectures, chamber ensembles, individual lessons, and instrument exhibitions.
 

We are proud that Żywieckie Suwakowanie has become an integral part of summer plans, combining the highest artistic standards with a family-friendly vacation atmosphere.
