Bytom, he was repeatedly awarded in competitions in Jastrzębie-Zdrój and Tarnowskie Góry. He graduated from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, studying under Prof. Jan Górny. He won first place in the National Chamber Ensemble Competition in Warsaw (2003), an honorable mention in the International Brass Instrument Competition in Gdańsk (2002), and second place in the Brass Instrument Competition for the YAMAHA Scholarship (2003). From 2003 to 2004, he received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art for his outstanding achievements.
He furthered his education through music courses both in Poland and abroad, including the Internationale Junge Orchester Akademie in Bayreuth (Germany) and the Idyllwild Arts Summer Program (USA). Since 2002, he has been the solo tuba player of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR), performing frequently both in Poland and abroad with the ensemble. He has also collaborated with other Polish orchestras such as Sinfonietta Cracovia, Symfonia Varsovia, Aukso Orchestra, and the Orchestra of New Music. In addition to his orchestral activities, he derives great satisfaction from his solo and chamber music performances. He has performed as a soloist with such orchestras as Capella Cracoviensis, Silesian Philharmonic, and the Polish Youth Orchestra.
Since 2002, he has been actively performing with his own chamber ensemble, the Cracow Brass Quintet, with which he won second place at the National Chamber Ensemble Competition in Warsaw in 2005. Since October 2006, he has been teaching the tuba class at the Academy of Music in Łódź.
