Jarek Meisner is a graduate of the Secondary Music School in Bytom on the legendary class of prof. Paweł Waloszczyk and the Academy of Music in Katowice, which he graduated with honors in 2018.  In 2022 he received the title of Doctor of Musical Arts.

He is the winner of the main prizes of several international and national competitions, including: II International Trombone Competition in Alsace - France, 14th and 16 th International Brass Competition in Jeju - South Korea, 74th Music Competition "Prague Spring", 10th International Wind Instruments Competition in Brno, II International Wind Competition - Vilnius, Andrejs Jurjans VI International Wind Competition - Riga, 1st International Brass Instruments Competition in Lviv, 6th International Instruments Competition Brass in Gdansk.

He is a two-time winner of the scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and a scholarship holder af the Young Poland program. During his studies, he received a Rector's scholarship four times and won a competition for the prestigious scholarship "Yamaha Scholarship Foundation of Europe”.

In the artistic season 2014/2015 he was employed at the Opole Philharmonic. In September 2017 he passed the exams to the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, and from April 2018 he was the first trombonist of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk. As a session musician, he participated in the implementation of recordings for many albums as well as archival recordings. He is also professor of trombone in Academy of Music Gdansk.

He has performed many times as a soloist with symphonic and wind orchestras, such as: Lviv Philharmonic, Jeju Philharmonic Orchestra, Luxemburg Military Band, Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot, AUKSO - Chamber Orchestra, Silesian Philharmonic, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Polish Baltic Philharmonic, Professional Symphonic Band "Rīga", Vilnus Chamber Orchesra, Polish Youth Symphony Orchestra, Academic Brass Band.
