A native of Silesia, he was raised in the tradition of mining brass bands, collaborating with them throughout his musical education. He graduated from the I and II degree State Music School in Jastrzębie-Zdrój. He studied at the Academy of Music in Krakow under the guidance of Prof. A. Czechowski, and later completed postgraduate studies with Prof. Z. Stolarczyk and Dr. Hab. J. Urbańczyk. He worked in the Border Guard Representative Orchestra in Nowy Sącz. Currently, he is a tuba player with the Holy Cross Philharmonic in Kielce, a member of the Świętokrzyski Brass Quintet, and a certified teacher at the ZPSM im. L. Różycki in Kielce and the I-degree Music School in Pińczów, where he teaches tuba and euphonium and conducts a wind orchestra. For years, he has been an instructor with the Youth Wind Orchestra in Krasocin – one of the best wind orchestras in Poland and Europe. In 2022, he was awarded the title of teacher consultant by the Center for Artistic Education.
He engages in extensive artistic and educational activities in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, for which he has been honored with the Center for Artistic Education Individual Award three times, for his significant contribution to the development of artistic education in Poland. He has also received the Mayor of Pińczów's Award for outstanding educational and care work, the President of Kielce's Award for achievements in artistic creativity, the dissemination and protection of culture, and the Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship's Świętokrzyska Culture Award.
His students win numerous awards and distinctions in national and international competitions and festivals. The most notable achievement includes the first prize at the National Tuba Competition of the Center for Artistic Education by Jakub Antonkiewicz. His students have also received the Prime Minister's Scholarship for scientific and artistic achievements, and his graduates work in such institutions as the Representative Orchestra of the Polish Armed Forces and the Representative Orchestra of the Air Force in Poznań.
He has performed in many countries, including Norway, Spain, China, and the USA. He has performed under the baton of many distinguished conductors, such as Jerzy Maksymiuk, Krzysztof Penderecki, Gabriel Chmura, Antoni Wit, and Wojciech Michniewski. With the Holy Cross Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, he has made several recordings, including "We are from here" with Włodek Pawlik, four editions of the "Album Polskiego," two albums with the music of Ryszard Bukowski, and the album "Anbild." Together with the Świętokrzyski Brass Quintet, he has performed at the Jeunesses Musicales festivals, the International Festival of K. Jamroz in Busko-Zdrój, and annually at the Early Music Festival in Levoča. He has been a participant in the Żywieckie Suwakowanie Festival for many years.
