event in Poland

Mateusz Konopka is a trombonist with the Silesian Philharmonic H.M. Górecki in Katowice and the New Music Orchestra. He graduated with distinction from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, under the tutelage of Professor Jan Górny. He has performed as a soloist with ensembles such as the Silesian Philharmonic, Capella Cracoviensis, Zielona Góra Philharmonic, and Zabrze Philharmonic.
 

As an educator at the W. Kilar Music School in Katowice, he trains young trombonists, who have won awards at both national and international competitions.
