XVIII edition of the biggest trombone and tuba festival in Poland

9-13 July 2023 

He started learning to play the tuba at the First Level State Music School. Fryderyk Chopin in Opole under the direction of Harald Powrose. He graduated from the Secondary School of Music in Opole with distinction. He studied tuba with Alessandro Fossi at the Conservatory. Claudio Monteverdi in Bolzano, Italy.

In 2017, he obtained a master's degree with distinction from the Academy of Music. I. J. Paderewski in Poznań.He cooperates with outstanding tubists by organizing master classes, including: Alessandro Fossi, Robbert Vos and Thomas Leleu. He improved his skills at workshops conducted by Professor Østein Baadsvik, Roger Bobo, Zdzisław Piernik and many others.

Since 2013, he has been working in the Air Force Representative Orchestra in Poznań, with which he gives concerts in Poland and abroad.Winner of many international and national competitions, including: 2nd prize at the 2nd International Wind Instruments Competition in Wrocław and 3rd prize at the Svirél International Competition for Soloists and Chamber Ensembles in Slovenia.

He teaches tuba and euphonium at the Academy of Music. I. J. Paderewski in Poznań and teaches at the Poznań General Music School. Mieczysław Karłowicz
