Graduate of the M. Karłowicz State Music High School, in the class of mgr Stefan Śliwa. He graduated with distinction from the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, in the class of senior lecturer Jerzy Czajka. He further developed his skills at the Department of Jazz and Popular Music at the K. Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, in the class of Dr. habil. Grzegorz Nagórski, as well as during masterclasses and lessons led by trombonists such as Ardash Marderosian, John Marcellus, Elliot Chasanov, James Miller, Mike Svoboda, Zdzisław Stolarczyk, and Zbigniew Starosta. He also participated in workshops led by trumpeters including Wynton Marsalis, James Thompson, Piotr Wojtasik, and Roman Gryń.
He is a laureate of the 3rd prize at the 3rd National Trombone Festival in Warsaw, winner of the Best Instrumentalist award at the 5th Big Band Festival in Nowy Tomyśl, and a finalist of the 5th National Wind Ensemble Competition in Warsaw.
For over 10 years, he has been associated with the Christian Musicians’ Initiative – Poznań Worship, founded and led by Leopold Twardowski. He is actively involved in various Christian music projects, collaborating for example with the Sacred Music Ensemble Lumen and Ensemble 33. He has participated in recording sessions and had the opportunity to perform and collaborate with artists such as Stanisław Fijałkowski, Zbigniew Namysłowski, Piotr Baron, Andrzej Jagodziński, Zbigniew Wrombel, Krzysztof Przybyłowicz, Piotr Kałużny, Wojciech Olszewski, Cezary Konrad, Krzysztof Herdzin, Paweł Pańta, Jarosław Wachowiak, Maciej Kociński, Maciej Fortuna, Piotr Wrombel, Michał Tomaszczyk, Jan Adamczewski, Paweł Pełczyński, Maciej Muraszko, Charles Aznavour, Lora Szafran, Hanna Banaszak, Natalia Kukulska, Kayah, Katarzyna Rościńska, Anna Dąbrowska, Zbigniew Wodecki, Krzysztof Krawczyk, Kuba Badach, Mieczysław Szcześniak, Piotr Cugowski, and Daniel Moszczyński.
He is a lecturer at the Department of Jazz and Popular Music at the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music and a teacher at the State Primary and Secondary Music School in Poznań.
From 2000 to 2011, he was a trombonist in the symphony orchestra of the Grand Theatre (Teatr Wielki) named after S. Moniuszko in Poznań. Since 2012, he has been working at the T. Szeligowski Poznań Philharmonic as principal trombone. For the past two years, he has also frequently collaborated with Jacek Piskorz’s band.
