He began his musical education in 1992 at the State General Secondary Music School I and II degree in Bielsko-Biała, in the trombone class of Zdzisław Stolarczyk, M.A. In 2010, he graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Krakow, Faculty of Instrumental Studies, in the trombone class of Dr. Hab. Zdzisław Stolarczyk. In 2016, he earned the title of Doctor of Musical Arts. He honed his instrumental skills through numerous workshops and masterclasses led by such great masters as Joseph Alessi, Christian Lindberg, Carsten Swanberg, Jonas Bylund, Ingemar Roos, Dietmar Küblböck, Stefan Schulz, and many others. In 2006, he studied at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hanover within the Socrates-Erasmus program in the trombone class of Professor Jonas Bylund.
In 2010/2011, he was a student at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in the trombone class of the first trombonist of the Vienna Philharmonic, Professor Dietmar Küblböck. He is a multiple laureate of top awards in international competitions (Gdańsk 2012, Dąbrowa Górnicza 2008, Brno 2007, Jastrzębie Zdrój 2004) and national competitions (Warsaw 2006, Katowice 2006, Mielec 2003, Szczecinek 2000, 2001, Oława 1999).
He pursues a concert career as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. As a soloist, he has performed with the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, the Krakow Philharmonic, the Zabrze Philharmonic, the Polish Orchestra Sinfonia Iuventus, the Bielsko Festival Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Krakow, and the Brass Band of the Academy of Music in Krakow.
Among his most important solo recitals are: at the International Festival “IVP-Symposium” in Rostock (Germany 2015), the VII Polish-Ukrainian Youth Music Meetings in Lviv (Ukraine 2012), the Trombone Festival in Warsaw (2006), International Master Classes in Szczecinek and Opole (2013), Wilanów Palace (2011), and the Royal Castle in Warsaw (2000). As a chamber musician, he participated in numerous concerts in Poland and abroad, such as at the III International Chamber Music Festival “Music in the Heights” (Zakopane 2011), the VII International Educational Salon “Perspectives” (Warsaw 2007), the masterclass and concert “Die große Gala zum Plauener Spitzenfest” in Germany (2013), and the International Scientific Session – “On the Path to New Harmony” (Krakow 2012).
As an orchestral musician, he permanently collaborates with the Sinfonietta Cracovia Orchestra, Capella Cracoviensis, the Bielsko Festival Orchestra, and the Beethoven Academy Orchestra. Performing a solo part on the baroque trombone, he recorded a CD with Capella Cracoviensis – Mikołaj Zieleński "Opera Omnia." The lack of interesting and varied musical literature for chamber ensembles inspired him to develop an interest in composition and arrangement.
His compositional output includes solo and chamber works for wind instruments, music for films, performances, and advertisements. Notable compositions include: Trombone Concerto and String Orchestra Fantasy of Flame; Trombone Octet Concerto and Brass Band Paths of the Mind; Brass Band Impressions; and Somniabunt – Door to the Mind for tenor and bass trombone solo and trombone octet. He also arranges music for popular entertainment bands, such as Golec uOrkiestra.
He has been repeatedly honored with scholarships from the Minister of Culture and Art and the National Fund for Children. In 2003, he received a scholarship from the Fund for Young Talents of Jolanta and Aleksander Kwaśniewski, and in 2010, he was a laureate of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage's “Młoda Polska” Scholarship Program. From 2007 to 2011, he worked as the principal trombonist in the Polish Orchestra Sinfonia Iuventus.
Since 2013, he has been a full-time employee of the Krakow Philharmonic as the principal trombonist and soloist. Since September 2012, he has been an assistant in the trombone class of Professor Dr. Hab. Zdzisław Stolarczyk in the Department of Wind and Brass Instruments at the Academy of Music in Krakow. Since 2014, he has been leading the trombone class at the State Primary and Secondary Music School in Bielsko-Biała. In 2018, he won the competition for the position of Assistant Professor at the Academy of Music in Krakow.
