He began his musical education in 1992 at the State General Primary and Secondary Music School in Bielsko-Biała, in the trombone class of Zdzisław Stolarczyk. In 2010, he graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Kraków at the Instrumental Department in the trombone class of Dr. Zdzisław Stolarczyk. In 2016, he obtained the title of Doctor of Musical Sciences. He perfected his instrumental skills as part of numerous workshops and master classes conducted, among others, by by such great masters as: Joseph Alessi, Christian Lindberg, Carsten Swanberg, Jonas Bylund, Ingemar Roos, Dietmar Küblböck, Stefan Schulz and many others. In 2006, he studied at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hanover as part of the Socrates-Erasmus program in the trombone class of prof. Jonas Bylund.

 

In 2010/2011 he was a student at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien in the class of the first trombonist of the Vienna Philharmonic Prof. Dietmar Küblböck. He is a multiple winner of the highest positions at international (Gdańsk-2012, Dąbrowa Górnicza-2008, Brno-2007, Jastrzębie Zdrój-2004) and national competitions (Warsaw-2006, Katowice-2006, Mielec-2003,Szczecinek-2000,2001 Oława-1999). He conducts concert activity as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral musician.

 

He has performed as a soloist with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, the Cracow Philharmonic, the Zabrze Philharmonic, the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra, the Bielsko Festival Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Krakow, and the Brass Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Krakow. As for solo recitals, the most important are: as part of the International Festival "IVP-Symposium" in Rostock (Germany 2015), the 7th Music Meetings of Polish and Ukrainian Youth in Lviv (Ukraine 2012), the Trombone Festival in Warsaw (2006), the International Master Courses in Szczecinek and Opole (2013), Wilanów Palace (2011) and the Royal Castle in Warsaw (2000). As a chamber musician, he participated in numerous concerts in Poland and abroad, e.g. at the 3rd International Chamber Music Festival "Muzyka na Szczytach" (Zakopane 2011), the 7th International Educational Salon Perspektywy (Warsaw 2007), the master class and concert "Die grose Gala zum Plauener Spizenfest" Germany (2013), the International Scientific Session - On the Road to Nowa Harmonia (Kraków 2012).

 

As an orchestral musician, he permanently cooperates with the Sinfonietta Cracovia Orchestra, Capella Cracoviensis, the Bielsko Festival Orchestra, and the Beethoven Academy Orchestra. Performing the solo part on the baroque trombone, he recorded a CD with Capella Cracoviensis - Mikołaj Zieleński "Opera Omnia". The lack of interesting and varied music literature for chamber ensembles inspired him to develop his interest in composition and arrangement. His compositional output includes solo and chamber works for wind instruments, music for films, performances and commercials. The most important compositions include: Concerto for solo trombone and string orchestra Fantasy of Flame; Concerto for Trombone Octet and Brass Orchestra of the Paths of the Mind; Impressions for a brass band and Somniabunt – Door to the Mind for tenor and bass trombones solo and a trombone octet. He also arranges music for popular entertainment bands, for example Golec uOrkiestra.

 

He has been awarded many times with the scholarship of the Minister of Culture and Art and the National Children's Fund. In 2003, he received a scholarship from the Jolanta and Aleksander Kwaśniewski Young Talent Assistance Fund, and in 2010 he became a laureate of the "Young Poland" Scholarship Program of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. In 2007-2011, he worked as the first trombone player in the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra. Since 2013, he has been a full-time employee of the Krakow Philharmonic employed as the first trombonist - soloist.

 

Since September 2012, he has been an assistant in the trombone class of prof. dr. hab. Zdzisław Stolarczyk at the Department of Brass Instruments of the Academy of Music in Kraków. since 2014, he has been teaching the trombone class at the ZPSM I and II degrees in Bielsko-Biała. In 2018, he won the competition for the position of Assistant Professor at the Academy of Music in Kraków.
