Zywieckie Suwakowanie 

XVIII edition of the biggest trombone and tuba festival in Poland

9-13 July 2023 

Wiktor Wojsyk - conductor, trombonist. Currently a student at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw: conducting class of prof. dr hab. Monika Wolińska, trombone class of prof. Zdzisław Stolarczyk and ass. Karol Gajda. Member of the Polish Youth Orchestra LYO in 2019. He took part in many festivals and music events - La Folle Journe in France, Choriner Musiksommer in Germany, Szalone Dni Muzyki and Eufonie Festival in Warsaw, Independent Festival in Krakowskie Przedmieście, Concert "Memory and Future" 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising at TW-ON.

Laureate of music competitions as a chamber musician and soloist. As a soloist, he performed in 2021 with the Częstochowa Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. Participant of symphonic and symphony-opera conducting masterclasses (e.g. Patrick Fournillier), and trombone masterclasses (e.g. Fabrice Millischer, Håkan Björkman).

As a conductor, he has led the Inaugural Concert of the 16th Żywiecki Suwawanie; the concert Carmen. Opera in cross-section at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw; many symphonic concerts with popular music; and performances with the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw. He also assisted in the performance of Charles Ives' The Unanswered Question in Częstochowa.

He composes and arranges for trombone ensembles and for the AllDęte ensemble, with which he collaborates on a daily basis as a trombonist.
