Wojciech Jeliński graduated with distinction from the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań in the class of Dr. Hab. Maciej Łakomy, Professor at the Academy of Music, and from the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin in the class of long-time trombonist of the Berlin Philharmonic, Professor Christhard Gössling. From 2016 to 2018, he was a scholarship holder at the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic in Professor Olaf Otte's class. In 2016, he received an artistic scholarship from the City of Poznań, in 2022, a scholarship from the Marshal of the Greater Poland Voivodeship, and in 2023, a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
Wojciech Jeliński is an assistant professor in the Department of Wind and Brass Instruments at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. Since 2019, he has been the principal trombonist of the Tadeusz Szeligowski Philharmonic in Poznań. In 2021, he received a Doctorate in Musical Arts. He is the founder and artistic director of Tromboholizm – Poznań Trombone Music Festival.
