CHILD PROTECTION STANDARDS
Żywieckie Suwakowanie is an event where we make every effort to ensure that minor participants feel safe and can develop their passions in a welcoming environment.
In accordance with the Act of May 13, 2016, on preventing threats related to sexual crime and protecting minors, we are implementing Child Protection Standards.
Shortened Version of the Child Protection Standards at the "Żywieckie Suwakowanie" Festival
1. Availability of Full Standards
The full version of the Child Protection Standards is available on the Association's website, in paper form at the festival office, and from the event coordinators.
2. Safe Environment for Minors
The "Żywieckie Suwakowanie" festival provides young participants with a space for learning and development in an atmosphere of safety and mutual respect. Our goal is to support talent and nurture a passion for music and culture.
3. Care for Children's Well-being
All staff members are committed to treating children with respect and taking their needs into account. Any form of violence—physical, psychological, or emotional—towards minors by staff, collaborators, parents, or other festival participants is strictly prohibited.
4. Response to Threats
Festival organizers and staff are trained to recognize and prevent situations that could endanger children's safety. In the case of suspected harm to a minor, immediate action is taken to protect the child, and the matter is reported to the appropriate authorities.
5. Working with Children
Minors' participation in festival events requires written consent from parents or legal guardians. All activities are supervised by qualified instructors who have the necessary pedagogical qualifications and are verified in the Sexual Offenders Register.
6. Preventing Child Harm
We focus on prevention—creating an environment where children can freely develop their talents without concern for their safety. We do not tolerate any behavior that violates the well-being of children.
